Algonquin Room Reservation

The Algonquin Room at Magic City Books is the perfect spot for your book group, professional meeting, or nonprofit retreat. We can configure the room to meet your needs and have a lectern, projector and sound system if you need it. The room accommodates 12 people comfortably around a large table or 40 with theater style seating. It can also be configured with tables and chairs. The fee for book groups is $25 per hour with a two-hour minimum. The fee for all other groups is $35 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Why the difference? Because fostering book clubs is part of our mission and we want to encourage book groups to use our space and take advantage of our services. We ask that you do not bring in your own beverages, but purchase them from our cafe. We have a variety of coffee drinks and teas, as well as wine, sparkling wine, and beer. If you want food for your meeting, please discuss options with our staff. The room is available from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. seven days a week. Please use this form to request a reservation. Our staff will contact you within 48 hours to confirm your reservation and work out the details to ensure a positive experience for your group. Due to our heavy program schedule in the Algonquin Room, we take reservations no more than two months in advance.
